Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a semi-hard magnetic material in hot workability by refining an iron-copper alloy of pure iron and electrolytic copper as a contact material and by using a composite deoxidizing-desulfurizing agent of specified quantities of Mn and Ca. CONSTITUTION:A semi-hard magnetic material consisting of 3-25wt% Cu and Fe for the rest uses pure iron and electrolytic copper, and is refined by using a composite deoxidizing-desulfurizing agent of 0.1-0.3wt% Mn and 0.1 or less wt% (not including 0) Ca. Said procedure permits improvement in hot workability.
