Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent possible defects on a painted surface with an applying efficiency of a granular paint to work by holding the flow velocity thereof passing through a pipe line within a specified range when it is applied by friction charging.
CONSTITUTION: A granular paint floating in the air is fed into a pipe lined with a material in a separate charged train and charged by friction therein. The paint thus charged is sprayed to work opposite in charge. In this method, the flow speed of the granular solid passing through the pipeline is held within the range of 60W 260m/sec. This enable noticeables elevation of the applying efficiency thereof. Accordingly, a craterlike defects or the like on the painted surface can be prevented along with an even painting.
