Abstract
PURPOSE:To constitute a microwave transmission line easily without exerting an influence of blow holes residing in a metal supporting plate by inserting and supporting in the through hole of a metal base body while it penetrates a dielectric support body equipped with a circumferential conductor. CONSTITUTION:In center holes 13 of dielectric supporting bodies 10 inserted into a through hole provided in metal supporting body 1, a molded body manufactured by die casting, input terminals 4 and 5 derived from microwave module 3 are inserted and supported being fixed by dielectric substrates 6 and 7. As a result, even when blow holes 8 reside in metal supporting plate 1, the characteristic impedance depends upon the ratio of outer diameter a5 of output terminal 5 to inner diameter b5' of metal tube 12 by the metal tube 12 provided on the outer circumferential surface of cylindrical dielectric 11, so that the impedance will not be changeable due to the existence of blow holes 8. Therefore, a microwave transmission line that has the fixed characteristic impedance can easily be constituted in metal supporting plate 1.
