Abstract

PURPOSE:To bend a bent hole having a unified curvature by inducing an electrospark electrode by means of a bent tube. CONSTITUTION:A bent electrode 1 has a diameter corresponding to the diameter of a hole having a unified curvature with which a machining is performed to a work 9 to be worked and has a semiannular type shape having the same curvature as that of the hole. The one end 14 thereof is flat and smooth and the other end is fixed to the end of a flexible electric conductor 2. An electric insulating tube 4 for an electrode guide is formed with a semiannular electrical insulating material having the curvature of the inner diameter equal to the curvature of the bent electrode 1 and it is fixed to the bed 13 of the electrospark machining device by means of a holding base 5. The bent electrode 1 is inserted in a freely sliding manner into said electrical insulating tube 4. A bell type tube 6 for an electrode guide is fitted at the end of the electrical insulating tube 4 in order to easily insert the electrode. Based upon the above-mentioned method, a bent hole having a unified curvature can be efficiently bored.
