Abstract
<PICT:0962248/C1/1> A hermetically sealable insulated terminal or bush for a component of electrical apparatus consists of a central tube of ceramic or like insulating material with end collars 16, 17 which have open-ended slots 18 spaced circumferentially around their peripheries which permit the collars to expand radially during their brazing to the tube. Terminal 13 has an internal blind bore in which a wire is soldered after passing through the aperture in the base.
