Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a high-efficiency gas adsorbent which contains the proximal basic iron porphyrin complex having only the steady 5-coordination spin-type structure is an effective component.
CONSTITUTION: This adsorbent has the effective component as shown in the formula I, where P is the iron porphyrin complex having the porphyrin ring of the formula II and the coordination of the iron (II) at the center; X is H and C1WC20 alkyl group plus the alkali metal; R is the methyl group; and n is 4, 5 and 6 each. The complex of the formula I is produced, e.g., by obtaining the N-(ω-bromoalkyl) phthalimide from the alkylen bromimide and the potassium phthalimide. This toluene solution is added to the boiling point reflux under the atmosphere of N2 obtained by adding the NaH and 2-methyl imidazole to the toluene. The N-(ω- phthalimide alkyl)-2-methyl imidazole thus obtained is dissolved, and then the N- (ω-aminoalkyl)-2-methyl imidazole is obtained by the hydrazine. Then the resulting product is reacted with the mixture of dicarboxy porphyrin monoester, triethylamine solution and ethyl chloroformate.
