Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the adsorption and condensation action of chemical liquid and improve deodorization efficiency with temperature differences by spraying the rapidly cooled water or the chemical liquid contg. deodorizer to a gas contg odor.
CONSTITUTION: The gas contg. odor is sucked through the suction port 1 of a deodorizing tower 5 by operating a forced draft fan 6. At this time, water or the chemical liquid contg. deodorizer rapidly cooled with a water cooling machine 11 is sprayed from a spray port 7. Then, the gas contacts the chemical liquid in the mist of the cooled chemicl liquid and eliminator layer 3, thus the adsorption and coagulation action is much enhanced. The gas is then released to the atmosphere through the exhaust port 2 and the forced draft fan 6. On the other hand, the chemical liquid having dissolved the ultrafine particles which are odorous elements of the gas is filtered in the lower filter bed layer 4 of the treating tower 5, flows from the lowermost port 8 to a tank 9, is filtered by a filter bed 17 and is sent again to the spraying port 7 through a forced circulatng path 12 by way of a pump 10 and water cooling machine 11, whereby it is recycled.
