Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled adhesive which can be cured without whitening in the adsence of a catalyst such as an anionic polymerization initiator, to give a cured product having excellent impact strength, flexibility and heat resistance, by the use of a 1,1-di-substituted diene compound having a specific structural formula as a main component.
CONSTITUTION: The titled adhesive which exhibits sufficiently high instantaneous adhesivity in the absence of a catalyst such as an anionic polymerization initiator, e.g. methylamine, and contains one or more 1,1-di-substituted diene compounds of formula (R1 is H, 1W5C alkyl, aryl, etc.; R2 is H or 1W5C alkyl; X and Y are cyano, carboxylic acid ester, etc.), e.g. 1-cyano-1-carbomethoxybutadiene-1,3, as a main component. The composition may be incorporated with 1W1,000ppm of a sulfonic acid etc. as a stabilizer and ≤50% of a methyl methacrylate polymer as a thickener, and pref. incorporated with 0.1W5% of a radical generating agent (pref. dialkyl peroxide, etc.) to attain higher heat resistance.
