Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the trouble required for operation of a driver and to always obtain an improved visual field, by a method wherein starting of a car is detected by switching on and off a start detecting switch, and an intermittent drive cycle of a wiper is changed according to stop and running of the car.
CONSTITUTION: In an intermittent cycle control circuit 1, when a car stops, a start detecting switch S1 is on and a top detecting switch S2 is off, and a control voltage Va becomes a lowest level Va1. When the car starts to run, the control voltage Va becomes Va2(>Va1) because the switch S1 is off. When the car runs at a high speed and the switch S2 is on, the control voltage Va becomes Va3(>Va2). Said voltage Va is input to an intermittent drive circuit 2 driving intermittently a wiper motor 3. Rectangle wave pulse signal is output by controlling closing and opening of transistors TR1 and TR2, and simultaneously, a roll bell time of said signal is controlled in 3-stage according to the control voltage Va.
