Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible automatic and manual controlling by changing the frequencies of the pulse signals driving a stepping motor depending upon the case of performing aperture control automatically according to the subject luminance and the case when it is done manually.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of performing automatic aperture control, a push of an operating member 10 causes the second switch SW2 to be held on the A, -A0 side and the fifth switch SW5 to be so set as to become OFF to the third switch SW3, whereby automatic aperture control is accomplished, and a stepping motor is driven by the relatively high pulse signals from the first pulse oscillator OSC1. In the case of manual aperture control, the manual aperture control may be performed by drawing out the operating member 10. At this time, the stepping motor is driven by the relatively low pulse signals from the second pulse signal oscillator OSC2 and therefore the driving speed becomes slower, whereby the aperture control at the manual control is made easy.
