CONSTITUTION:A received signal from terminal 1 is decided by threshold circuit 2 to generate a ternary discrimination signal that corresponds to ''1'', ''0'' or ''-1'' and this output signal is supplied to comparing-correcting circuit 4 by being delayed by one signal interval at delay circuit 3. Circuit 4, supplied with the output signal of threshold circuit 2 as the other input, compares both the input signals to correct an error. To correct the discrimination signal according to the magnitude of the received signal, the received signal from terminal 1 is supplied to absolute-value circuits 61 and 62 direct or via delay circuit 5 for single-signal-interval portion and output signals from both the circuits are compared mutually by comparing circuit 63, whose decision signal is led to comparing-correcting circuit 4.
