Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the influence of interference from an interleaved channel by adding a changeover switch and a level comparator for detecting the occurrence of the interleaved channel interference in addition to conventional diversity operation. CONSTITUTION:When there is not the interleaved channel interference, a computing element 9 outputs 1 and the changeover switch 10 is connected to k-0. The demodulation output of a receiver with the high envelope of a received wave selected by the comparator 3 and a changeover switch 4 appears at a demodulation output terminal 11. If the received signal from an antenna 1a has the interleaved channel interference, the output (g) of a comparator 7a for the demodulation output becomes 1 and a switch 8b for the demodulation output closes the circuit to pass a signal h'. Further, the output (n) of the computing element 9 becomes 0, so the changeover switch 10 outputs a signal (m) to the terminal 11. Even if the receiver of one system is affected by the interleaved channel interference, the probability that the receivers of other systems are not affected by the interference is high.
