Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to correct a discrimination error signal from a discriminating circuit that has neglected the bipolar rule, by specifying the error range by storing maximum error generation time. CONSTITUTION:A received signal from terminal 1 is supplied to threshold circuit 2, which discriminates among three levels ''1'', ''0'' and ''-1'' and sends its output to error correcting circuit 4 via delay circuit 3. On the other hand, the received signal supplied from terminal 1 and the discrimination output signal of threshold circuit 2 are supplied to maximum error generation time memory circuit 6, which finds an error signal at each time from two input signals and remembers its maximum value and maximum value generation time on the basis of an interval and polarity assigned by the discrimination signal. The discrimination signal outputted from threshold circuit 2 is supplied to error detecting circuit 7 as well to perform error detection using the bipolar rule. Output signals of memory circuit 6 and detecting circuit 7 are both inputted to error correcting circuit 4, which corrects the error.
