EXAMPLE: 2-Amino-2-deoxy-3-O-( D-2-propionyl-L-alanyl-D-isoglutamine )-D-glupyranose hydrochloride.
USE: An agent raising immunological function and synthetic intermediate of other glucosamine derivatives.
PREPARATION: After the catalytic hydrogenation of a glucofuranoside derivative of formula II (Q1 is benzyloxycarbonyl; Q2 is azide, hydroxyl, amino; R is aralkyl) or its salt, e.g., in the presence of palladium-carbon, the protecting groups are removed to give the objective compound.
