Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A piperazine derivative of formula I [R1 is carboxy(derivative), oxalo or acylamino group; R2 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl or acylamino group; R3 is aralkyl group; A is alkylene group; X is NR4 (R4 is H or acyl group), O, S or NHCO], and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: N-[3-(4-Benzhydryl-1-piperazinyl)propyl]-4-fluoroanthranilic acid.
USE: An antiallergic agent for treating an allergic disorder of men and animals.
PROCESS: A compound of formula II or a salt thereof is reacted with a compound of formula III, preferably in the presence of a base or an iodine compound, to give the compound of formula I.
