Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned device which enables nonimpact recording on an ordinary paper by a method wherein thermo-melted solid ink is melted by giving heat-radiating energy to an ink-supporting body and the melted ink is transferred by blowing air from the side opposite to the surface of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Heat-radiating energy 6 and 7 is given to the ink supporting body 1 such as a wire net coated with the thermo-melted solid ink 2 from a solid-ink melting means 3 in accordance with a printing signal and thereby the solid ink is melted. The ink thus melted is transferred 8 on to the paper for recording by blowing the air from the side opposite to the surface 4 for recording by means of an air-blowing means 5. Since the bias heating is given up to the temperature near the melting point of the solid ink by heating the blown air, little energy of thermal beams 6 and 7 is sufficient, and an excellent printing is always performed without being influenced by the quality of the paper for recording.
