Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a gas detecting element which has a high detecting sensitivity and is excellent in high temperature stability and selectivity, by providing an Al2O3 layer carrying metal oxide on the gas sensor consisting of a metal oxide semiconductor, as a catalyst layer.
CONSTITUTION: The catalyst is formed by containing metal oxide such as chromium, cobalt, copper, nickel, manganese, etc., by about 0.1W20wt% in Al2O3.
