Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the charging characteristics of a photoreceptor by melting bisphenol-A in a drying process when the photoreceptor is manufactured.
CONSTITUTION: When a soln. of phthalocyanine pigment, insulating resin and bisphenol-A in solvent is applied to an electrically conductive substrate and dried to manufacture a photoreceptor, the heat treating temp. of the drying process is adjusted to the m.p. of bisphenol-A or above to melt the bisphenol-A in the applied soln. once, followed by drying. Thus, crystal deposition on the resulting photoreceptor is inhibited.
