Abstract
PURPOSE: The reaction between a diaminomonoalkoxycarbonylamino compound, a diamine and a dicarboxylic halide is followed by cyclization with heat to produce a condensate suitably used as a film or electrical insulation material, because of its high heat resistance.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 95W5mol% of a diaminomonoalkoxycarbonylamino compound in which an aromatic nucleus bears 2 amino groups and 1 group of -NHCOOR (R is alkyl, aryl) and one of the amino groups is adjacent to the groups of -NHCOOR in the aromatic nucleus, (B) 5W95mol% of a diamine and (C) a dicarboxylic halide are made to react in an inert solvent. The resultant polyamideurethane is heat treated in the form of a film or coating film, preferably at 250W350°C to effect ring closure, thus giving polyamideimidazolinone.
USE: Coating and protecting film for semiconductor elements.
