Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure the electron beam dose easily, by providing a substrate carrying specific composition in the passage of radiating electron beam, and measuring the coloring degree thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A composition blending 1 weight part of a product (a) obtained by reaction of 1 mol of furfural with about 2 mols of aromatic amine expressed by formulae I, II [X, Y are alkyl, acyl, alkoxy, amino, cyano, nitro, halogen; m, n are 0 to 4 (however, m+n≤5)] and about 1 to 20 weight parts of high molecular compound containing halogen (b) such as polyvinyl choloride and polyvinylidene chloride is spread on a substrate made from glass, plastic or similar plate. When thus prepared substrate is placed in the passage of the electron beam, it is colored gradually accoring to the radiation, so that the electron radiation quantity may be determined from the degree of coloring.
