Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare the titled head which is of simple structure and can be worked easily, by making the slider member made of Zn ferrite adhere to the core member made of Mn-Zn ferrite by means of diffused junction of both ferrite. CONSTITUTION:The adhering faces 4, 4' and 5, 5' of the sliders 1, 1' made of Zn ferrite are subjected to mirror finishing by means of lapping. In the same way as mentioned above, the adhering faces 6, 6' to the sliders 1, 1' of the core 2 made of Mn-Zn ferrite are subjected to mirror finishing by means of lapping. The mirror- finished faces are made to adhere closely by placing the core 2 between them, and its diffused junction is completely performed by putting pressure in the direction as indicated with arrows 7, 7' and also heating to approx. 1,200 deg.C in the atmosphere of N2. After the junction, the surface confronting the disk is finished to a taper flat type by means of machine work.
