Abstract
PURPOSE:A novel modified strain belonging to the genus Corynebactorium glutamicum, having resistance to respiratory reaction inhibitor, high formation efficiency of ATp, and high fermentation productivity of amino acids, etc. CONSTITUTION:A bacterium belonging to the genus Corynebacterium glutamicum, e.g., Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC-13032, is subjected to inductive modification by ordinary methods, e.g., ultraviolet ray irradiation, treatment by agent of mutagenesis, etc. to give a novel strain, e.g., Corynebacterium glutamicum AJ-11092 (FERM-P3856).
