Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a hose line which has no obstruction for a flow path, by a method wherein, in a floatable hose line for rough sea, a sleeve hose having a floater layer is coupled to the hose body, and a flexible coupling is used at a connecting portion to a floating structure on the sea water.
CONSTITUTION: For example, a large-calibered, long-sized sleeve hose 5, which forms a floating hose line coupling together a sediment carrying vessel and a drop ship, is formed in a multi-layer such that a reinforcing layer 5b, consisting of reinforcing cords and reinforcing wires, is laid around an outer circumference of an inner surface rubber 5a, and the layer 5b is covered with an outer layer 5d through the medium of a closed cell cellular material layer serving as a floater 5c. The sleeve hose is further provided with end flanges 5e which act to couple together the sleeve hoses. A ball shell type short drum sleeve hose 6, which serves as a coupling used at a portion where a hose line, formed with said sleeve hoses 5, is connected to each floating structure, is formed such that rubber ball 6d, in which a reinforcing layer 6c is embedded, are formed into a monolithical unit between a pair of nipples 6b having flanges 6a.
