Even if the temperature of the liquid coolant slightly fluctuates due to foaming or the like, the coating layer 15 prevents the temperature fluctuation from being directly transmitted to the cooling block 5. As a result, the fluctuation in the oscillation frequency of a laser element 8 is greatly reduced because the element is cooled by the cooling block through a heat sink 6.
