Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an internal water-cooling type cooling roll having a large overall heat transfer coefficient, a high cooling rate, and a high cooling capacity by providing a doughnutlike cooling water path within a specific distance from the peripheral surface in the operation of the water-cooling roll for cooling a metal strip.
