Abstract
PURPOSE: To raise coefficient of heat transfer of high fins, by forming fine grooves on the surface of at least either of heat transmitting tubes or fins.
CONSTITUTION: Ringlike fine grooves 4 are formed on the surface of high fins 3, so that mist liquid attached to the front surface of high fins 3 is directed to the remaining section of fins 3 where the mist liquid does not come into direct contact. As the result, most of the surface of fins 3 get wet by the mist liquid, so that coefficient of heat transfer of the high fins 3 can be increased remarkably.
