CONSTITUTION:The luminance signal supplied from the terminal 11 is added with the burst type pilot signal from the gate circuit 16 and then supplied to the adder circuit 24 after the FM modulation 19. On the other hand, the color signal supplied from the terminal 12 is applied to the amplitude control circuit 23 after the FM modulation 20 and then supplied to the circuit 24 after the reduction given to the amplitude for the period during which the pilot signal exists. Then the output of the circuit 24 is supplied to the magnetic head 26. Thus the best S/N is obtained in the range under which the beat due to the cross modulation is not conspicuous by giving an amplitude control to the color FM signal. And then the beat due to the FM signal can be eliminated substantially during the horizontal blanking period, thus securing a sufficient function of the time base collector.
