Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure proportion between the input voltage and the oscillation frequency over a wide range, by eliminating the nonlinear part with installation of the analog switch, the integrator and the comparator each. CONSTITUTION:The analog switch 12, the Miller integrator 27 and the comparator 28 are provided each. The contact position of the switch 12 is at the terminal 14 when the positive input voltage is applied to the input terminal 11. Thus the positive input voltage of the input resistance 15 of the integrator 27 is added 16 with the positive input voltage which is applied from the comparator 28 of the input resistance 15, and then the slope of the output (2) of the integrator 27 becomes steep in the positive direction. Then the output (1) of the comparator 28 is inverted to turn negative when the output of the integrator 27 reaches a certain level. And then switch 12 is changed over, and the position of the contact bar shifts to the contact 17. And this time the output slope of the integrator 27 becomes steep in the negative direction. This action is repeated to increase the oscillation frequency. In this case, the output of the integrator 27 is proportional to the level of the input voltage, and accordingly the change components become proportional to each other between the input voltage and the oscillation frequency. Thus the linearity is improved for both the input voltage and the oscillation frequency.
