Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the total input heat to the combustion furnace by controlling the charging time interval in the case where combustible wastes such as waste tires and the like are charged in a combustion furnace such as a rotary kiln or the like. CONSTITUTION:A device 9 for charging a waste tire 47 within a rotary kiln 3 in a cement manufacturing step charges the waste tire 47 in a predetermined position by causing a truck 15 on which the waste tire 47 is loaded to advance at high speed by the driving of a cylinder device 16 along the travelling part 13. Upon this occasion, on the reference of the weight of the waste tire 47 having an average size the effective combustion time is measured. On the basis of the measured value, the charging time interval of the waste tire 47 to be charged next is determined, and the determined value is set at a charging time interval controller 20. Then, the charging time interval is corrected on the basis of the actual weight value charged next, and a charge control valve 25 is controlled to control the charge of the waste tire 47.
