Abstract
PURPOSE:To both reduce a quantity of irradiation beams of an X-ray device for the patient and improve the operational accuracy of its automatic exposure control mechanism, by providing a discharge circuit at the primary side of an inverter transformer and actuating said discharge circuit at a completion of irradiation of the X-ray. CONSTITUTION:A rectifier circuit 18 and an X-ray tube 19 are connected in series, instead the rectifier circuit 18 and the secondary side of an inverter transformer 16 are connected through a shield cable 17. While a voltage is fed to the inverter transformer 16 from a bridge inverter circuit, and to discharge the electric charge of an electrostatic capacity 17' in the shield cable 17, a discharge circuit, constituted by a resistor 14 and triac (triode AC switch) 15 connected in parallel to a primary winding of the inverter transformer, is provided at the primary side of the inverter transformer 16, and said triac 15 is fired at a completion of irradiation of the X-ray. In this way, a quantity of irradiation beams for the patient can be reduced and the operational accuracy of an automatic exposure control mechanism can be improved.
