Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the use of tetrode tube in the control of tube voltage by controlling voltage to burden on tetrode tube at a fixed value near a space charge region. CONSTITUTION:The tetrode tubes 6 and 6' provided between the a high-voltage generator consisting of the high-voltage transformer 1', the rectifier 3', and the high-voltage condenser 4' and the X-ray tube 8 are made to burden with the charging voltage of the high-voltage condenser 4' and also to control the tube voltage. When the tetrodes 6 and 6' are just becoming ON-state by a signal from the control circuit 10, its output voltage is detected by the detection resistors 11 and 11' and fed back to the control unit 10, thus permitting the tube voltage to be exactly controlled.
