Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to extract a specific region in one-picture data easily under the data compression state, by extracting only data of n-number picture elements of the part where all of the line gate signal, the block signal and the block gate signal are detected. CONSTITUTION:At the time when data is output from block gate signal detecting circuit III, the first n-bit picture signal of the first scanning of original picture data is output from shift register 12, and the first line gate signal 2 is output from shift register 18, and the first block signal 4 is output from shift register 24 through SW 25. AND between each of the line gate signal and the block signal and the block gate signal is operated in AND circuits 20 and 27; and if block gate signal 3 is 1, signals 2 and 4 are stored in memories 21 and 28 respectively.
