Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance endurance agaist communication troubles and match this system to 24/30-channel systems to perform remote station control, by providing a coder/decoder for 30-channels in the outgoing side of the line concentration switch and by distributing equally the signal, where plural channels are multiplexed, to plural PCM transmission lines. CONSTITUTION:Three CODECs are used to assign #1-#3 30/10-channels to the #1 transmission line, and demultiplexing is so performed that 11-20-channels of CODEC outputs may be assigned to the #2 transmission line and 21-30-channels may be assigned to the #3 transmission line. By this assignment, even if a trouble occurs on one transmission line, the control and the communication of call of subscribers SUBs stored in respective line concentration switches LSWs are performed with rest transmission lines. In case of the down signal, channels are assigned similarly to respective transmission lines under the control of the master station and are multiplexed by DMUX, and the down signal is input after demultiplexing so that it may correspond to CODEX in MUX. CODEX30/4 is distributed to four transmission lines to match the system to the 24-channel system, so that this system can be used for both transmission line systems without change of the number of outgoing lines of line concentration switches.
