Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the quick selection and reproduction for the signal of the desired music for the magnetic recorder/reproducer for the audio signal using the endless tape, by securing the recording for the audio signals equivalent to one music on one or serveral tracks. CONSTITUTION:The rotational frequency of capstan 9 is selected so that tape 1 may run with the velocity of 0.7-3m/sec. With such high-speed running of tape 1, the record-enable-frequency band is increased to realize the frequency modulating (FM) record. The FM record of the audio signal increases the S/N, and as a result the track width can be reduced on tape 1. Accordingly, a number of tracks can be secured even with the same tape width. And thus the audio signals equivlane to one music can be recorded as one or several tracks. In other words, the audio signals of other music are never recorded on the same track. As a result, the audio signals of the desired music can be selected and reproduced in a short time.
