Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the furnace condition by controlling the furnace inside distribution of charged material by means of measuring the grain existence density distribution and grading distribution in a row material dropping flow through utilizing ore samples provided to three different horizontal planes with each other in the row material charging apparatus on a blast furnace top.
CONSTITUTION: When raw material is distributed by turning in a blast furnace from a turning shute 6 of a raw material charging apparatus on a blast furnace top in a space between the lower edge of the shute 6 and raw material charging plane in the furnace on three different horizontal planes with each other, ore sampler 14 with a plurality of pockets 13 for receiving a charge dropping flow in the radial direction on the same plane are provided at the circumferential position different from the other level sampler 14, whereby the dropping flow of the charged material is received and the amount and grading distribution of the charged raw material which has been received with each pocket 13 are measured and the grain existence density distribution and grading distribution in the raw material dropping flow are measured. The charge distribution of the raw material in the furnace is controlled on the basis of these measured values so as to be uniform, thereby the stabilization of blast furnace operation and the reduction of coke ratio are performed.
