Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled laminated glass having superior bonding strength by superposing an interlayer and a patterned layer made of material equal to the material of the interlayer between transparent platelike bodies at least one of which is a glass plate so that the printed side of the patterned layer contacts to the interlayer after which the bodies are heated and pressurized.
CONSTITUTION: One side of a polyvinyl butyral thin film is printed by a screen printing system, and the resulting patterned layer 2 is separated into small pieces 4, 4, 4 by cutting in accordance with the size of the patterns. Interlayer 5 made of material equal to the material of layer 2 and having a thickness about 10 times as large as the thickness of layer 2 is formed. and interlayer 5 and pieces 4 are superposed between a plurality of glass plates 1, 1 as transparent platelike bodies 6 so that printed sides of pieces 4 contact to interlayer 5. Bodies 6 are then heated and pressurized. Thus, the border line of each piece 4 disappears perfectly, and the direct contact of the printed side of the patterned layer to glass plates 1, 1 is prevented to give fine patterned laminated glass without lowering the bonding strength.
