Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a transfer foil base material wherein multiple colored layers are provided, and a pattern is scored in different depth in the colored layers, so that one can see metalic shine of an evaporated metal film through the differently colored transparent pattern, and therefore the multiply transparently colored, metallic and shiny pattern that has depth and a steric effect can be provided.
CONSTITUTION: On one surface of a flexible base film 1 are layered a release agent layer 2, a primary protective layer 3, a multiply colored layer 4 comprising a plurality of differently colored layers 4a, 4b, a secondary protective layer 6, the evaporated metal film layer 7 and a heat-sensitive bonding agent layer 8. As the pattern 5 is scored in different depth in the multiple colored layer 4 for example by lining process, one can see the evaporated metal film 7 through the multiply colored layer 4 from the primary protective layer 3 side.
