Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily discharge a bar during its conveyance, by coupling link mechanisms to rollers, which defines a conveying passage, so that the rollers can be inclined sidewards.
CONSTITUTION: A pick-out device 2, which is provided at the end of a roller conveyor 1, comprises a swingable carrier frame 6 and rollers 5 supported on the frame. The rollers can be inclined by a cylinder 10 and a connecting rod 8 into a position shwon by a chain line in Fig. Guide rails 22, which are inclined sidewards, are provided between the rollers 5. When the roller are inclined, a conveyed bar 3 is thrown out sidewards along the guide rails 22. As a result, bars can be continuously conveyed and be picied out without applying an impact to them as with a kicker or the like and the quality of the bars is kept good.
