Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce necessary motive power, by diminishing the outside diameter of a rotor, extending the rotor in the longitudinal direction to compensate for the decrease in the volume of the rotor due to the outside diameter diminution to maintain electric generating capability and decreasing the radius of peripheral surface rotation of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:Generally, the motive power produced by a motor is changed into tension along the circumference of a pulley directly coupled to a shaft and the outside diameter of the rotor of the motor is almost equal to that of the pulley. If the output of the motor is 7.5KW and the tension along the circumference of the pulley is 52.5kg, motive power necessary for electricity generation by an electric generator which is made from the motor by changing its winding and whose output is 7.5KW can be met with the tension 52.8kg. The diameter of the rotor 1 is reduced by a half but the rotor is extended four times in the longitudinal direction to compensate for the decrease in its volume to maintain the same electricity generating capability. As a result, the necessary motive power can be met with the tention 52.8kg although the diameter of the rotor is reduced by half. The diameter of the pulley is not changed, so that the diameter is double that of the rotor. Therefore, an electricity output of 7.5KW can be produced by a half of the tension of 52.8kg on the principle of leverage. The motive power necessary for the electricity generation can thus be reduced.
