Abstract
PURPOSE: To lessen installation area for a wind power generator by designing vanes to receive wind and the rotor of generator in a body.
CONSTITUTION: This wind power generator 1 has a rotor 2 on which a magnet 29 is mounted firmly at a shell 27 provided around rotary vanes 25 and, outside this manget 29, a generating coil 33 is mounted mating with the magnet 29 to perform generation of electricity. This arrangement will give a higher circumferential speed of the rotor 2, which assures a larger electromotive force. Further, the vanes 25 revolving in the shell 27 ensures free from hazard, and their being designed in the form of a screw yields electromotive force with good efficiency even under weak wind. Further, as the vanes 25 and the rotor 2 of generator 1 are made in a body, the structure can be simplified, the cost suppressed, and the installation area considerably lessened.
