Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain the stable control of the top pressure of the blast furnace and the enhancement of energy recovery rate by controlling the opening degree of a control valve for a pressure controller by the nozzle angle of a gas turbine within a given range in the control of the top pressure of the blast furnace provided with a pressure recovery power generator. CONSTITUTION:In the control of the top pressure of the blast furnace 3 provided with the pressure recovery power generator 11, using a pressure controller integrally with a dust remover, the opening degree of the control valve 23 of the pressure controller (secondary dust remover) 8 is detected by an upper and lower limits setter 27 in response to the signal 26 from a signal generator 25, and when the opening degree range reaches the upper limit of the control range, the output 28 of the setter 27 is put in a nozzle driver 29 of the gas turbine 12 and the nozzle angle is lowered to a preliminary pressure of the turbine 12. Thus, a given pressure difference is given to before and after the controller 8 to make the stable control of the control valve 23 possible. Also, the gas turbine matching the usual amount of gas can be used and its cost can be reduced.
