Abstract

PURPOSE:To form sufficient insulating films even to the corner portions of the end surfaces of a core by a method wherein the core is made up by laminating iron plates, insulating layers are built up by applying resin only to both end surfaces of the core, and the both end surfaces are insulated including the inner surfaces of slots. CONSTITUTION:A laminated core 11 is manufactured by laminating punched iron plates, and resin layers 17 are formed by applying organic insulating resin only to end surfaces 16 at the both sides. A continuous insulating film 18 is made up onto the inner surfaces of slots 12 and the end surfaces 16 at the both sides by using an insulation treatment such as by a fluidization immersion method or a spray method. Thus, the insulating layers of the corner portions 15 of both side ends are built up in sufficient thickness, and the insulating film on which cracks will hardly be generated can be formed.
