Abstract

PURPOSE:To guarantee precise valve action without marked drop of volumetric efficiency, by driving a valve mechanism through a valve driving shaft directly fitted to a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 6 is driven by an input shaft 1 through a connecting shaft 12 and turns around an axial center O2. A driving shaft 13 also turns together with the rotor 6 at this moment and a driven piece 15 also turns around the axial center O2 of the rotor 6. A rotary valve 14 is also turned around its own axis through the driven piece 15. Working fluid is fed in and discharged from a chamber formed among gear teeth of the rotor 6, with a period determined by the turning speed of the rotor 6 and rotary valve 14. Since the valve mechanism is driven by the valve driving shaft 13 directly fitted to the rotor 6, the valve action is accurate and can inhibit marked drop of the volumetric efficiency.
