Abstract
PURPOSE:To save the electric energy used by a fan in a recovery apparatus by detecting the fluctuations in in-furnace pressure at the recovering of converter exhaust gas, separating the same to high frequency fluctuating components and low frequency fluctuating components and controlling the flow rate of the exhaust gas by respectively separate devices. CONSTITUTION:The CO-contg. exhaust gas emitting from the converter is purified in a primary dust collector 20 and a secondary dust collector 30 and is taken out with a fan 7. At this time, the in-furnace pressure fluctuations A by the exhaust gas are detected with a fine differential pressure transmitter 2 and are separated to low frequency fluctuating components B and high frequency fluctuating components C by a filter 4. The low frequency fluctuating components B passed through the filter 4 are amplified by an amplifier 5 and are inputted to a control unit 6, by the output whereof the number of revolutions of the fan 7 is controlled in response to the fluctuating frequencies. On the other hand, the high frequency fluctuating components C are amplified by an amplifier 10, and are inputted to a ring slit element opening control unit 11 which in turn controls the opening of the ring slit element 31 of the secondary dust collector 3 by a piston 12 to control the high frequency fluctuating components which cannot be responded by the revolutions of the fan 7; hence, the revolutions of the fan 7 become proper and the wasteful consumption of electric energy owing to wasteful revolutions is avoided.
