Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the addition of new macro instruction, by storing the procedure of execution to composite instruction in advance in the instruction execution step storage area of main memory.
CONSTITUTION: The instruction is read out from the software storage area 15, stored in the instruction buffer 3 and interpreted at the decoder 4. In case of composite instruction, the instruction detection signal is on, the selector 8 selects the inlet address information and reads out the instruction from the inlet address of the instruction execution step storage area. The instruction execution step is sequentially stored with the central processing unit 1 and the instruction signal is OFF with the final instruction and the system returns to normal operation.
