Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the prevention of clange in quality etc. of the liquid caused by its contact with air by a method wherein both a liquid flow-out passage and an air flow-in passage may be opened or closed simultaneously with one handle, the liquid is taken out without making air vent holes in the container and the liquid contacted with air is taken out.
CONSTITUTION: A valve body portion 1 is sealingly fixed to the lower part of the container 2 for storing liquid with being completey sealed thereto by a threaded means etc. The valve body portion 1 is provided with two passages 3, 4, and the liquid is passed through the passage 3 and flowed out of a lower outlet 7 having a head H thereat. The passage 4 is communicated with the air suction port 4b arranged below a gland nut of a closure member 5, the air is flowed into the container at the inlet opening 4b of the passage 13. When a desired volume of liquid is taken out and a handle 11 of the closure element 5 is rotated up to a closed position, the closure member 5 changes the flowing directions of the passages 12, 13 to shut off the flowing condition. Since both passages for the air and liquid are simultaneously opened or closed, it is not needed to arrange an air ventilation hole at the upper part of the container, and further the sealing operation may easily be performed and the liquid retrieval may smoothly be conducted.
