Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide steel material having excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, by spraying Al on the surface of ferritic steel material, by heating the sprayed layer at a specific temp. to melt it, then by rubbing the layer with a wire brush to form Fe-Al alloy layer on the surface, in addition by spraying Al to form padded layer while heating said Al layer. CONSTITUTION:A padded layer 2 of Al is formed by spraying Al on the surface of steel material 1, then the padded layer is heated at 650-800 deg.C temp. for several min by a burner to melt the padded layer. The molten portion is rubbed along the surface by a wire brush etc. thereby forming Fe-Al alloy phase 5 on the surface of the steel material. Then a padded layer 4 is formed by spraying Al while heating the padded layer 2 formed on the surface of the steel material to about 650 deg.C by a burner once again. Each of the padded Al layers are bonded chemically, hence multilayer padding is performed without being peeled, consequently desired thickness is obtained by padding.
