Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent harmonic waves of a secondary excitation thyristor by detecting the speed range for generating detrimental harmonic waves and applying another speed command in this range thereto to rapidly pass over the range. CONSTITUTION:A speed command altering circuit 17 is provided between a speed command circuit 10 and a speed control circuit 11, and comparators 18, 19 and logic AND gate 20 forming a command altering circuit 17 detect the speed range for generating n-th harmonic waves of primary current. The output from the circuit 17 opens or closes the switch 23 to stop the speed command from the speed command circuit 10 in the speed range and applies new speed command from a speed setting variable resistor 22 thereto to alter the speed command so as to rapidly pass over the speed range. In this manner, it can prevent the detrimental harmonic waves which cannot be removed in the conventional resonance filter under such control.
