Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the required quantity of lead for the fabrication of electrode plate unit and to improve its productivity by forming flat parts through melting plate lugs and joining the flat parts and lead terminals together through melting. CONSTITUTION:Plate lugs 3 are fused with a burner 2 to form rod-like flat parts 7 on the electrode plate unit 6, and a lead terminal 8 is provided on the flat parts 7 while heating and fusing the respective flat part 7 with a burner 2' to join the terminal 8 and that part 7 together. Another lead terminal 8 is provided on the other flat part 7 to join them together by heating and fusing them with a burner 2''. Thus the required amount of lead is reduced and the productivity can be improved.
