Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a construction and diminish an installation space, by connecting a hot water storage vessel to a heat collection vessel through heat pipes.
CONSTITUTION: A hot water storage vessel 6 of heat insulating structure is integrally provided on a heat collection vessel 2. An appropriate number of heat pipes 12 are laid through a partition wall 11. When solar heat is received by a collector 1, a heat collecting liquid medium M in the inside is heated and supplied to the heat collection vessel 2 by a circulating pump 5 and the heat of the liquid medium M is transferred to water W in the lower part of the hot water vessel 6 by the heat transfer function of the heat pipes 12. The cooled liquid medium M is then returned to the collector 1. The heated water W in the lower part of the storage vessel 6 flows to its upper part due to natural convection and is stored as hot water, which is supplied through an auxiliary heater 9 when a hot water faucet 10a is opened. This results in dispensing with a lifting pump and a cistern and attaining the purpose.
